How it works
Choose a video, select a compression preset, and start processing. The browser re-encodes the video into a MP4 output using a lower bitrate and, for smaller presets, a reduced resolution.
L4XYVS TOOLS
Compress short videos to MP4 directly in your browser. Choose a size preset, preview the result, and download the compressed file.
Compression preset
Smaller uses stronger compression and 720p scaling. Balanced is general-purpose. Quality keeps more detail.

L4XYVS AI TOOLS
Reduce the size of short videos directly in your browser with simple compression presets.

Smaller prioritizes file size, Balanced provides a general-purpose compromise, and Quality keeps more detail while potentially producing a larger file.
The selected video is decoded and re-encoded locally in the browser. This tool does not intentionally upload your video to an L4XYVS processing server.
The compressor uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly and outputs MP4. The first use downloads the browser encoder, so processing is heavier than simple browser-only utilities.
Yes. It is provided as a free browser-based utility.
No intentional upload is used by the compression workflow. Processing happens locally in the browser.
Yes. FFmpeg runs in WebAssembly in your browser and encodes the final file as MP4.
Some source videos are already heavily compressed. In those cases, re-encoding can produce a similar or even larger file.
